THE MISSION
The mission of the Heartland Center for Public Health & Community Leadership is "to increase the competence of current and future public health leaders through the development, implementation, and evaluation of leadership education and training programs and products."


Leadership Development

HCL is engaged in collaborative efforts among organizations and individuals from academic institutions, national and international organizations, and local, state, and federal agencies dedicated to advancing the practice of public health leadership development.


Projects

HCL was formed as a center for leadership development programs and projects designed to increase the competence of current and future public health leaders.


Partners & Resources

HCL collaborates with and promotes linkages among organizations, agencies, associations, foundations, and other stakeholders to develop and/or expand public health leadership development programs.
