Heartland Centers Webinar Series

The Heartland Centers (HC) Webinar Series was developed to highlight best practices in the field of public health from local health departments across the country. These monthly live broadcasts are supported by a WebEx system and the Heartland Center Learning Management System (LMS) with archived versions of each monthly program available through the LMS. The purpose of the Webinar Series is to inform the public health workforce, FQHCs, healthcare, emergency management, academic community, and non-governmental agencies about best practices and tools they can use to better prepare for public health emergencies and other high consequence events and disasters. Each program focuses on best practices and/or tools that were implemented, as well as lessons learned to provide insights on future strategies for implementation and potential outcomes.
