Crisis Leadership Training
One of HCP’s primary niche areas is leadership development, including design of crisis leadership competencies and related curriculum. In addition, HCP Crisis Leadership Institute has developed a Crisis Leadership Certificate Program for dissemination throughout the Heartland Region and nationally.
The Crisis Leadership Certificate Program features six modules that are designed to help individuals understand the elements of a crisis event and develop the critical thinking skills required to anticipate and manage such an event. The series focuses on improving skills and overall competence for becoming a successful crisis leader. The modules cover topics including the influence of personality factors, inquiry systems and frameworks, and patterns in crisis leadership. The Crisis Leadership Series is available online through the Heartland Center’s Learning Management System (LMS).
